		<description>My comment is so late, but I just found this post today, and want to thank you for it.  I completely agree with you.  We collectively allowed this tragedy to happen, and vilifying a young man who clearly needed help that was never given won&#039;t change that.

What amazes me are people like Dave Pelzer (author of &quot;A Child Called It&quot;), a boy who was severely abused as a child until he was finally removed from his home and put into foster care at the age of 11.  Then he went through the rest of his school years being shunned and bullied.  Somehow, he managed to turn out as a compassionate, caring human being.  He&#039;s devoted his live to helping other who are going through what he did.

I guess it&#039;s hard to understand what makes some people snap and others grow stronger.  

If only no child had to go through what Cho and Dave Pelzer had to go through.</description>
