Really? I just told you that I was BORN IN A CAR, an UGLY CAR, and all you care about is that I'm pregnant? Geesh.
I wrote a few posts while I was shamelessly keeping it from you that help explain what's been going on. In the meantime, here it is a nutshell:
I am about 10 weeks along with a due date of Nov. 22. It happened so easily and so quickly that we are both still a little stunned. And humbled, and grateful. We figured we'd try for a while and if it didn't work that was that. The reason we're telling before the end of the first trimester is that the doctor had some concerns that got us an early ultrasound, which turned out very well.
If you're dealing with IF I understand if you need to take a break from Boomerific for a while. I am one of those infuriating cases of a woman who got it on the first try and I won't pretend like the fact that I am sensitive to IF makes it feel any better. So it's OK with me if you have to read elsewhere for a time. I promise, though, not to post belly shots (ewww) or to write exclusively about pregnancy.
Also, we are in no way finished with adoption. This will probably be our only pregnancy, barring any surprises.
whatnobellyshotswhyevernot? 🙂
Congratulations again, my dear.
I’m so happy for you that you’re already on this new path. It’s incredible news.
Ah come on! Even though I’ll never be able to be pregnant myself, I still enjoy seeing belly shots! 🙂
Seriously, I’m very happy for you and can’t wait to hear all about your pregnancy and the baby!
Wow. Congratulations! I wish you an uneventful and happy pregnancy 😉
I was talking to my person, and I asked him what he thought about your pregnancy.
“What pregnancy?” he says.
I guess we were both late-comers to the news. I don’t think I could have heard anything happier in the entire world. No baby could be luckier than to have you as a mother.
